Tango Federal by Flix

About

A Miami translation company that became a production floor.

Founded in Miami in 2019 for law firms, immigration agencies and institutions, Tango Federal is today the Flix Translations Group's production brand: it serves Florida businesses directly and gives language agencies worldwide a floor they do not have to build.

How we got here

From a Miami translation office to the group's production floor.

2019

Founded in Miami

Tango Federal Translation Services starts in Miami serving law firms, immigration agencies, government institutions and small businesses: certified translations, deposition transcripts, case files.

Media

Subtitling and captioning become the core

Broadcasters, studios and production companies bring subtitles, closed captions and transcripts, where timing and platform specs are not negotiable. Today that is most of the volume.

AI-first

The group's platform changes the economics

As part of the Flix Translations Group, Tango shares linguists, project managers and a production platform the group builds and operates. First drafts became cheap and fast; human work moved to editing and verification.

Today

Two kinds of client, one floor

Florida businesses buy the outcome; language agencies worldwide buy the capacity behind it. Same linguists, same platform, back-translation as standard QA for both.

Scale

One platform, three brands, hundreds of linguists.

The counters are live from the group's production system. Tango Federal jobs run on the same pipeline as everything else the group delivers.

How we operate

Four rules we do not bend.

Quote in an hour, not a week

A firm number and a delivery date within the hour of receiving files. For agencies, one rate sheet that is the same for everyone.

People sign off, machines draft

No deliverable leaves without a linguist's review. The AI is our cost structure, not our quality strategy.

Prove it, don't claim it

Back-translation reports and live production counters exist so an agency can show its client evidence instead of adjectives.

Stay in our lane

Remote interpreting only, no on-site. Agency clients stay agency clients. No consulting theater.

Next step

Talk to the people who will run your jobs.

An account manager in the U.S. time zone, a production team that never sleeps, and a rate card you have already seen.
